Republic, the leading investment entity, has confirmed raising $150 million in its Series B funding round. This round was spearheaded by Valor Equity Partners and the funding will be deployed by the company for global expansion and the development of new products for investments along with achieving overall business growth simultaneously. Republic has several divisions including a platform for retail-based investments, a division for private capital and also a business that deals with blockchain consultancy.

Existing investors like CoinFund also took part in the funding round and mentioned that Republic Crypto has a bright future in the market.
Partner at Valor Equity, Vivek Pattipati, stated that the entity has always invested in more innovative disruptors of the industry and Republic is a perfect fit for its portfolio. He added that they are fully in sync with the vision at Republic for completely transforming and revolutionizing the private investment-driven marketplace while also bringing in a whole new era for venture capital (VC)-related funding. New investors included the likes of hedge funds such as Atreides and Brevan Howard, GoldenTree Asset Management executives and Pillar VC.
